E.G.- Blue Forest filler graphic with poem by midniteoil E.G.- Blue Forest filler graphic with poem by midniteoil
Just thought I'd show you guys what I've cooked up on the computer when I didn't feel like drawing or typing for my project.

I mixed up the old image I used in my initial bookcover concept to create this blue graphic you see in the background.
The little verse is a short poem that I came up with.
It's not exactly Robert Frost, but I actually think it's pretty good considering my otherwise pitiable skills when it comes to poetry ^^;
I have the idea where you occassionally see these little poems at the beginning of every new chapter.
Or the occassional quote.

And just in case any of you are wondering, that font I used is called "Beyond Wonderland", and I downloaded it from 1001freefonts.com, a site that we had to use in our Ad design class back when I was attending college.
I still use it now and then since it's one of the relatively "safe" sites to download new fonts from.

P.S. - sorry for nixing the downloading option and putting that watermark on it, but lately I've seen way too many DA journals from friends/watchers that have been talking about how their artwork is being stolen and altered, so I'm going through a temporary bout of paranoia at the moment XP

Thank you for the creative input:huggle:

I honestly have no idea where this poem came from.
I just got this sudden thought and this is how it came out. I usually get trapped in that drilled in concept about poems having to rhyme XP

And about the background, if you look carefully you can just make out some of the curly vines from that wallpaper you just faved ^_^
