Certain details like his scar and white streak are missing, so this will be updated somewhere in the future. I'm also still working out an example of the wing tattoos he's supposed to have on his back.
I'm teeter-tottering between loving Ward's new design and hating it the next. He's good looking, but doesn't he seem a little too bishie?

Like several characters in this project, Ward went through a name change, his first name originally being Sullivan to lastly Argos. He used to be half Sphinx at some point, but that concept was nixed as Shay's heritage was already complicated enough as it is. I still pictured his animal forms having wings, though, so I made his mother a type of flying werewolf instead of a sphinx so it would make sense for him to keep them in his design.
I also changed his ethnicity to Roma (Gypsy). I'll admit, the fact that he's a werewolf and the desire to trace at least one half of Shay's heritage back to Transylvania played big factor in this decision. Plus it gives me perfect excuse to do what I often do and play amatuer anthropologist to try to understand more about Gypsy culture, instead of just relying on the stereotypes you find in movies and such, such as "The Wolf Man" starring Lon Chaney Jr., Victor Hugo's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", and, in more recent years, Stephen King's "Thinner" (I've only seen the movie version).
Earlier this year I was surprised to learn they had a show on TLC that (sort of) featured their culture, "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding". Since we still didn't have the internet at that time, I made myself sit down and watch a few episodes, but my disdain for those "Bridezilla"-esque shows made me stop. I learned a few things from it, but nothing at all credible to brag about it -_-;......
So now I'm learning what little I can through Wikipedia ^.^
